The chapter begins with the giant ancient robot sinking to the bottom of the ocean after attacking Warkyri. As he sinks, he thinks of Joy Boy and where he went. We hear a bit of Vegapunk’s message from Special Den Den Mushi but only his voice saying, “There’s a name…” is cut short.
There are different reactions to the problem around the world. In Arabasta, Kohja and Toto are among the citizens discussing the fate of Vegapunk. Some believe the secular government wiped it out, while others blame the pirates. At Whiskey Peak, Mr. 9, Miss Monday and their son like citizens are discussing whether the World Government will execute Vegapunk for his “sins.” In Dressrosa, Rebecca and Leo talk about Luffy.
Back on Egghead Island, York informs the Five Elders that there are two Vegapunks left: Lilith and Atlas. The Five Elders decide to disappoint them both. Meanwhile, Luffy, Dory and Brogie arrive on the beach and join Bonnie, Sanji and Frankie on the Elbaff ship.
