R6 Siege's Y8S3 Operator 'Ram' is bringing her Destructive BU-GI Drone

Ubisoft has finally shared the first look at Rainbow Six Siege’s latest operator from South Korea, Ram.

Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 8 Season 3, called Operation Heavy Mettle, is almost here, and Ubisoft has started teasing the new seasonal content, which includes this latest operator. The new operator Ram is bringing her destructive BU-GI drone to Siege’s battlefield.

We also got a teaser of Ram’s special gadget which is called the ‘BU-GI‘ drone. From looking at the teaser, it is clear that his fierce-looking device can obliterate any soft floors and barricades in its path. So, this gadget will work as a helping hand to open up new lines of sight from above, and let Attackers play vertically.

While it won’t obviously make Sledge or Buck useless, players will now have another option to open up floors quickly and automatically (we are guessing). This will also help newer players to improve their vertical plays, as Siege lately has been turning into a more blind run-and-gun meta, especially in Ranked.

We currently don’t have more information about Ram’s loadout. Siege’s Y8S3 Operation Heavy Mettle full reveal will take place on August 13. Read more about when it starts and where to watch it in our post here.
